A very delicious german dish I once learned from my mom. I love to mix the mash with the meat and especially with iceberg (with oil dressing)
- 1.5kg Potatoes
- 500gr minced meat
- 1 big onion
- 2 bags gravy
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup milk
- olive oil
Peel and dice the potatoes and boil them in salted water for approx 45mins.
Dice the onion and fry them in a pan with oil. Add the minced meat. if the meat is well done season it with salt and pepper and add the gravy.
Release the water from the pot with potatoes and start to mash them. Add milk, butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg first and the egg at last.Enjoy 🙂
