Lemon Brownies

wp-1489615749118.jpgVery lemony brownies… I love the freshness and the little sour taste of those amazing brownies…


  • 230gr butter
  • 250gr flour
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 lemons, zested and juiced
  • 170gr sugar
  • 130gr icing sugar
  • 1tsp salt
  • 30ml lemon juice
  • 150gr icing sugar

Mix melted butter with flour, baking powder, sugar, icing sugar and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl mix the lemon zest and juice with eggs and add to the flour mix. Beat until the dough is creamy. Then pour into a baking dish and bake at 175°C for around 25mins.

Mix the rest of the icing sugar with lemon juice until creamy and pour over the warm brownies. Let completely cool down before slicing into bars and serving.
